Lost girl looking for lost things

For some reason i'm still stuck on this quest. Completed Rumblings and Stoutford castle quest. Yolgen has nothing new, but Berbane is still looking at his helmet.
What should i do to finish this quest?

find the girl and look for the helmet in the old castle structures

The girl is back with her father and i found the helmet at the same time and gave it to him. After i found the girl the father also gave me a helmet to give to him and still no change.

The priest only gives me the option to ask for trade and sends me to Yolgen. I've exhausted every dialog with yolgen several times. I can ask him about all the nearby areas and they all end with me asking if i can help and him telling me he has to think about what tasks he can have me do.

I really don't get it.

The quest journal ends with:
Lord Berbane slowly took his helmet, but remains sitting at the table. He probably needs a few hours without drinks before he can get back to work. If ever.
