How To Find Your True Character Lvl.

So this is new and easy and a good way to tell what lvl you are really.

1st. only put down equiped stats
health/5=true char lvl
atack chance/5=true char lvl
if atack is 1-3 atack =2 if attack is 18-20 true char lvl =19
critical chance/10=true char lvl
critical multiplyer/1=true char lvl
block/3=true car lvl

Whats your True Character level? heres mine.

atack chance lvl 31
atack lvl 25

Could you please explain the idea a little bit more?
You seem to divide by the amount you can get by a single level up. Right?
Why do you divide CC by 10? Seems to be a random number for me.
What about DR (Damage Resistance) and AP. (Attack Points)

IMO the "true character lvl" is not saying much more than the "normal" stats.

ok 1 lvl per ten% to measure it for cc
1 lvl per dr
1 lvl per atack turn say ap 3 of 10 = lvl 3 2of10= lvl 5
and its to see what everyone is focusing on. try it out or not but its a easy way to tell how.far you are. in levels. you could be lvl 30 and have a true char lvl or 70 and you could be lvl 20 and have a true char lvl of 70 as well its a more acurate way to measure levels. thats all

Several issues, you haven't allowed for critical multiplier and I feel 1 level does not equate to 10% Crit chance, as the best weapons in the game give 40% AC but the max CC is only 20%. Thus I feel it should 5% Crit equates to 1 level and CM above 1 should be another 1 level. Also since DR bonuses are very small and rare compared to AD ones, I would equate 1 DR to 2 levels.

Also, at level 1 you already have points in AC, BC, AD, HPs so these should be deducted from the calculation prior to working out your 'level'. Lastly, when comparing yourself to others, you neglect to examine the whole picture. For instance I have a low AD, but I hit most times and crit frequently for 45 damage, so I one shot most mobs on a regular basis. So whilst I focus on ensuring I hit most of the time with good spike damage, I could fully understand someone going with a build that hits rarely but does huge damage every time or a build that is extremely hard to hit. All work well, depending on level and mobs and which is best is a subjective and cannot be decided by your 'level' system, as I have multiple equipment to switch to so that I can specialise vs the mobs I face.

The point is, whilst it may be relatively simple, it is inaccurate and doesn't take into account many factors. Other factors you haven't considered are items that regenerate hit points and 'cursed' items such as Blackwater gear. You also fail to account for how important AP is, as and AP 2 weapon, whilst doing a lot less damage per hit than an AP 5 one, can hit 5 times rather than 2 and thus do a lot more damage overall. However, if the opponent has high damage resistance, then the damage the attacks do can be negated, thus slower more powerful attacks would be better.

The most obvious flaw is that your 'true' level is nothing of the sort. Unequipped, any 2 characters of the same level will have the same 'true level', so your comparison really refers to the items equipped. As I use many different items depending on situation, from bare fists to the Shadow of the Slayer for example, a more useful discussion would be to ask people what equipment they use, why and when. You could also ask to they focus on hitting, number of attacks, consistent damage, spike damage, blocking, survivability or more likely a combination of each, favouring some over others.

Guess you missed the last part of my statement. I see no use in your 'true' level calculation so why would I be bothered to calculate a formula for you when you can't be bothered yourself?

I see a benefit. Oscar needs a formula to calculate prices of items depending on their attributes. (Currently the prices are manually given)
He wants to adjust the prices exponential for higher attributes.
