We have discussed this, and will not change it. The book is a diary, so you will not record things that happened before you acquired it. OK, that is not quite true, because some things will be recorded after they happened, but we do not want to spend a lot of time for a couple that are not.

I have killed over 40 highway men on the dunlain road and I cannot get the achievement. Is there something that I am missing to get the achievement?
Also, since I cannot swim again in the arulir cave, how can I get the swimming lesson achievement?

Cuchulainn3 - The link only goes to your quest list, which is not updated for the swimming lessons, and has no info on killing the highwayman.
