NEW skills for those who use one arm more than other

We currently have those 3 skills: Fighting style: Dual wield, Fighting style: Two-handed weapon and Fighting style: Weapon and shield. So how about those:

Your right arm got strong enough to wield a Two-handed weapon by itself. You gain an abillity to wield a shield with your Two-handed weapon.


To level this skill, you need to be at least level level 45.

To level up this skill you need at least level 2 of Fighting style: Two-handed.

To level up this skill you need at least level 2 of Fighting style: Weapon and shield.




Fighting style: Two-handed dual wield

Your right arm got strong enough to wield a Two-handed weapon in your right hand. You gain an abillity to wield a Two-handed weapon with your One-handed weapon. If wielding a One-handed weapon in your right hand it's damage potential is increased by 30%. If wielding a Two-handed weapon in your right hand it's attack chance is increased by 30% of its original value.


To level this skill, you need to be at least level level 45.

To level up this skill you need at least level 2 of Fighting style: Two-handed.

To level up this skill you need at least level 2 of Fighting style: Dual wield.




We also have those 3 skills: Specialization: Dual wield, Specialization: Two-handed weapon and Specialization: Weapon and shield. So how about those:




Specialization: Two-handed weapon and shield

Your both arms got even stronger. Two-handed weapons wielded with shield have an additional 50% of their original damage potential while your shield has 50% increased block chance of it's original value.

To level up this skill you need at least level 1 of Specialization: Two-handed.

To level up this skill you need at least level 1 of Specialization: Weapon and shield.

To level up this skill you need at least level 1 of Fighting style: Two-handed weapon and shield.




Specialization: Two-handed dual wield

Your both arms got even strong enough to wield a Two-handed weapon in both hands. You gain an abillity to wield 2 Two-handed weapons at the same time. If dual wielding One-handed weapon it's damage potential is increased by 50%. If dual wielding Two-handed weapon it's attack cost is reduced by 1 AP.


To level this skill, you need to be at least level level 60.

To level up this skill you need at least level 1 of Specialization: Two-handed.

To level up this skill you need at least level 1 of Specialization: Dual wield.

To level up this skill you need at least level 1 of Fighting style: Two-handed dual wield.


Note that those would be some hyper late game skills that would not really do be accessable until you almost fully clear the game

The engine does not support the ability to make a two-handed weapon a one-handed weapon from a skill.

It should still classify it as Two-handed weapon and apply only Two handed weapon bonuses if that is the issue... if it is an issue that you cant enable using a shield while using a two handed weapon, then well.. that sucks

The whole idea is fundamentally flawed when it comes to the game engine. You can't use a two-handed sword more than once and you can't use it with a shield. You would basically have to keep a second version of every two-handed sword that is a one-handed version of it. And then expose that one-handed sword in the game once the skill is obtained. This is not going to happen

I can't think of how you could use a shield together with a 2 hander? Even if you fix the shield to your arm.
A shield has to be hold actively against the opponent's blows, you can't swing a great axe independently

Imagine growing so strong that two handed weapon takes as much strength to wield in one handed weapon as one handed weapon tolls on regular user. You would use 1 arm for 2 handed weapon. Does that makes sense?
