Increases any existing critical skill given by equipment by 20%
This may seem obvious, but I would request some clarity before starting a new game based on criticals.
1) Does the 20% increase takes into account the TOTAL critical skill number resulting from ALL the equipments (be it weapons, wearable items, armour, and shield) OR only critical skills provided by the weapons?
2) Is the 20% increase on every skill point calculated based on the TOTAL existing critical skill (say, 50)?
For ex:
Level 20, total CS at 50, resulting CS after skill point = 50x20%. Basically, the increase has a cumulative effect?
OR
Level 20, existing base CS values from all equipments at 30, resulting CS after skill point = 30x20% each time on every skill point. Basically, the increase is not incremental in effect?

I have never taken this skill, but I think it is exactly what it says. It is the CS from all equipment multiplied by 1.2.

if you have item with critical skill 10
do the math.
0.20x10=2
+2 critical damage to your basic attack
do the math.
0.20x10=2
+2 critical damage to your basic attack

I understand. The confusion was regarding the base values, whether the successive additions are taken into account on every skill point, or not.
It looks like the game calculates 20%+20% ...and so on..each time on every skill point increase, and then adds the total.
For some reason, I can't match the increase in skill with the resulting total increase when calculating manually, either 20% flat on total, or equipment wise.
Anyways, I have dropped the plan to focus entirely on criticals. Not a feasible approach to spend so many skill points. It'd be better if we had a separate level up for criticals just like damage, AC, and BC...

It is not cumulative. It is not CS*1.2*1.2*1.2.... It is CS*(1+0.2+0.2+0.2...)
