Received a notification today about a new 0.7.1 version for Playbook. Deleted the old version and installed the new one. I believe the old version was 0.7.0.1. The Playbook OS version 2.1.0.1801.
When I try to open a previously saved game, i get the following error. "Andor's Trail was unable to load the savegame file. This savegame file is created with a newer version than what is currently running."
I noticed that the forum did not have a notice of a new Playbook version.
I have attached one of the saved game files. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Forum user cccd3c3pt is handling the BB port on his own, and this issue definitely looks BB-only. I'm surehe will read this post soon and act accordingly.
There was no forum notice for v0.7.1 for either android nor BB because it simply is a bugfix and translation update release.

I apologize for the inconvenience. I don't seem to be having the same problem but I have gotten emails from one other person about the problem.
Here is what I suggest you do:
- make a backup of your AT folder (file manager>misc>android>andors-trail). Just copy that folder to a specific location other than that directory.
- uninstall any Andor's Trail applications from your device and then re-download the game from app world
- after it installs again, go to the directory mentioned above and replace the contents of the folder 'andors-trail' with your back-up contents
Until I find the exact solution for the problem, this should hopefully give you a fix. Please let me know if it doesn't.
One last point, to check which AT you have, open the game and go to the help section. Ignore the app world versions as they might not correspond.

If the beta version is the 0.7.0.1 version, then yes. That is what I had installed before the March 03 version.

I am having the same problem as hsstorm5. After I upgraded and had trouble opening my saved game, I tried uninstalling and re-installing, as suggested on the main support page, but that made no difference. I have no idea what version I was running, it was whatever was on Blackberry World last as I always install updates as soon as I can. Until this bug can be fixed, is there a way of re-installing the previous version so I can continue to play from my saved file?

There was no public beta for the BB version.
However, cccd3cpt made a change in a value used by the saved games management system for the BB version v0.7.0.1, that was overwritten by changes in the android version for v0.7.1.
I will try to provide a fix to cccd3cpt later today, so that an update can be pushed to BB World.
