Seems like an interesting idea, stats have some balance issue but would be an interesting addition.
These types of items could either provide resistances to a whole group of conditions (physical abilities etc), or one particular condition (e.g. poison).

(Sarumar asks if we can introduce smooth movement instead of the current jerky movement)
One option would be to just introduce animations when moving actors. Another option would be to make it so that you can stand on other places than the center of tiles, for example on the edge between two tiles.

Partial translations optional have the ability to switch to english without switching phone state?
Sure, we would like to change the translation format to using a more standardised file format (po files?). By doing that change, we could be more flexible in what options we present to the user.
