Many players (especially none English speaking) don't find all quests because they don't ask the right questions the right persons and they never look into the forum. So they might not play the full game and give up too early. This could easily be corrected if it were possible to list also the "not started" quests in the quest tab. IMO the drop down selection in the quest list should have at least the following entries:
"Open quests"
"Open and finished quests"
"All quests (including not started quests)".
The not started quest may have a hint how/where to start but simply listed would do also. IMO this would make the game more enjoyable for many players.

Interesting. Writing myself a note to discuss how to make quests more noticeable in the next project meeting.

on the map - maybe the town / city can be highlighted if it still has quests?
(although some quests are outside city limits - just brainstorming)

I remember when v0.6.9 was released, I didn't know it had included a quest involving the catacombs beneath the Church in Fallhaven (I read about it here). It might also be helpful if there's a way to let us know when a quest that couldn't be completed has more parts added to it.
Having not started quests included in the "All Quests" list seems like a good idea to me, maybe put "(not started)" next to it.

The list should show all quests that are open at present. Maybe you have to return to Crossglen for a future quest. It would be misleading if that quest was displayed right from the start.
So far I've been exploring and talking to everyone that crossed my path. That was sufficient to keep me busy. So maybe this feature isn't that necessary? After all it is boring if you get so many hints that you don't have to search for yourself.
Another Option would be that people drop hints about where to go if you talk to them before you did a certain quest. Like the guard in front of Flagstone prison. That's a great way of pointing a player towards a quest.

once the quest is started, however, it should be documented.
this is a game of exploration & discovery...
maybe an easier version, for those less willing to explore?

I agree with nykt05 on mimi map highlited. Maybe as well put an icon to click on and it takes u directly to ur quest log on that quest. And showing things and places to people before they discover it themselves take alot of steam out of my sail while play games like this but having something there as a reminder so if i get side tracked is GOOD the spaz that i am. Just a thought love that this is happening for this game gonna change how things get done in the gamming world. Keep it everyone awesome job

It would be very confusing for new players to see all the 20+ and growing number of quests in the list. Also it would spoil the story.
