Skill/stat rewards for quests

Been thinking about quests that give things other than exp and gold for completion.
Like a point in MF for collecting a bunch of rare items for a NPC.
Or +5 AD for killing X amount of different monster types?
There's heaps of other combinations but this is just to get the ball rolling...
Any opinions?

I like this idea, here are a few more ideas:
Bonus for killing XX monsters in total
1,000 monsters
10,000 monsters
100,000 monsters
etc
Bonus for killing XX of one type of monster)
1,000
10,000
Bonus for taking XX steps
1 bil
5 bil
Bonus for finishing XX quests
10
25
55
All the bonuses for the first ones could be tiny but as the milestones get larger so could the benifits.

I like this idea also. Since the quest experience and monetary rewards are very low, I think stat/skill rewards should be in addition to the current rewards, not in place of them or only for quests/accomplishments of their own.

I agree. Quest rewards are probably next to useless if you are even level 20 or above.

oskar added something few hours before in his files of next update..
"Updated reward system for conversations. Rewards can now be skills or
actorconditions and not just items and quest progress as before.
Item requirements for selecting conversation replies now also support rrequring
the player to be wearing a specific item, and having a requirement without
removing the item when selecting the reply."

idk if you start doing things like that then we just have another zenonia or any other gamevil rpg with the title system. i like that you have a specific set of armor that gives you the bonuses you want and thats it no added achievements for killing a certain amount of monsters or doing a lot of quests

We now have the option of awarding skills from conversations and quests, and even actor conditions such as Poison or Bless. I absolutely want to use this new code for the next release.
The next update will include a questline that, if you choose to follow a certain path, will award you with a unique quest-only skill. On the other hand, following another path will lead you to something else - hopefully equally nice.
