I don't want to be a "wet blanket", but I don't see the point in this. You fight and you fight a never ending battle just to die first. Sounds like marriage, but without all the fun adult activities.
You use up X amount of potions, meat...etc, then lose X% of experience points. For what

I agree. I don't really understand the point of this...
Anyways, this is definitely nothing like the infinite dungeon I suggested. Having said that, please respect my suggestion and place your ideas in a separate new post. Thank you

Happy hunting
Same here, although I understand the counterarguments. If there is not enough endgame content, people are invited to come up with quests, items, areas and enemies for higher levels.
That being said, I have no idea what the focus of levels is for AT 1.0 so to speak - the latest release has some tough stuff which made me go for 2 RoLS first. I don't see much challenge in burning a load of BMP because I am just not powerful enough.
Long story short, I am looking forward to some content for level 50, 60, 70 etc. or areas where certain builds have advantages.

I agree with Tek. Using all of those resources for an "Endless Dungeon" is really pointless because there is no goal that can be achieved. I do think that the dungeon should have an endpoint even if it is an extremely difficult one. Such as a 500 level dungeon. That would feel very endless

. This way it is a challenge no matter how many times that you run through the dungeon.

You know how suramar created a timed run challenge?
I was thinking of using it as an "in game" sort of challenge that tests and rewards the player with more experience, gold and unique weapons and armor that can only be obtained by going further into the dungeon. it's always easy enough for the developers to simply add a new item that you obtain after completing level 50 or 100 or whatever. I don't really see the point of both an endless dungeon and new game+ if new game+ comes with enhanced difficulty and experience. I'm on board for one or the other.
For those that support permanent decisions, endless dungeon is a better fit. I'm not partial to either but I believe one of them would provide good end game for players who like me, don't like recreating new characters if they are content with their current builds

+1 to this idea. With the neeeded tweaks this could be a stellar addition to the game.
