+1 Endless dungeon seems cool. Problem would be to save the generated dungeons and/or generation time ...
+1 and how about this idea, this dungeon is something like nightmare where you fight again and again against monsters witch have legendary and extraordinary item drop chance. Even the maps can be the same, just make monsters really hard...Wyrmspawn wrote:The dungeon shouldn't have any drops that can't be got from outside in other dungeons though, or overpowered players would appear everywhere.
+1 I love this.. And maby there are some item awailable which gives you option to wake up insted of dying... and then you can keep expos and possible drops.Wyrmspawn wrote:Nightmare!!! This word gave me an idea... Here's the deal. There is a bed in say, In the middle of the wilderness. When you lie down upon it to rest, you suddenly wake up and find yourself being attacked by a monster with weak power. You kill it, of course. But then, as the monster disappears, it appears again, and attacks you. Again. Each time it grows more powerful until at last you're killed by it. Then you wake up on the bed in the wilderness drenched in cold sweat. What happened? Was it all a dream? If so, why are the potions I used in the battle gone? But it can't be real! Can it...?
I dont like this, because it will need some extra coding and I like to get the expos. Dont fix it if it works already. Just make the monster or monsters (I like to see that there are sewerall of them) saying something before each battle and then ad option to "this feels weird... wake up" there when you own "talisman of dreams". It could be a guest reward item or can be byed in some ridiculour price.Wyrmspawn wrote:How about this, then. During battle, you find that you keep gaining only 0 xp. When you die, you find that you have lost 0 xp, but lost all items used in the battle. This way, the player would be discouraged from using potions there and will rely on real skill to see himself through the dream world dungeon.
I always support good ideasXero wrote:Thanks for the idea support! I was about to give up on the entire concept...this gives me hope that something this cool may actually become implemented...and I font even care when I look at something and say that was my idea..I just really like the idea that I will have something to look forward to when I've completed everything else.
Thanks for the support guys.
