Edit saved game files ??

Guys,can someone pls help me to add an item to my save file?
Not the legend or the extraordinary,but a starting item
Like kid's set item,i play from v.0.7.7,when the starting item isnt even in the beginning of the game.
I have a savefile game with no quest completed from 0.7.7,i don't wanna add one character again.Because i love the name of the character..

Just upgrade to a later version and grab the items from Mikhail's basket. You won't lose your current character.
Plus, you can't add an item to your inventory that doesn't exist in the game

Can someone PM me how to edit my savegame? I tried HxD or on Phone UTF Hex or Hex Editor but its not working.
Or is there any Editor avaible? I mean its an offline solo game so no one will care what you do

i wanted to start simple and created a new char called "Trickster" and there i wanted to edit at first the Exp, in Hex it shows at start but if i edit it its only in title screen and in game its still the same falue. 2nd i thought its easy to edit gold, but there i got only an error

The xp is in in two places. Only the second one matters.
When you are editing these I hope you are not trying to add digits.

I imported my saved files from way back 2020. But the map was only in gargoyle cave. Is there a way to retrieve my worldmap?

Interesting. Did you save inside of the Gargoyle cave?
If so, please go outside, then save again, then load that save. Does that help?
(When it works, then the reload could take several minutes)

If you are in gargoyle cave you will not see the worldmap even if it imported correctly. Are you in the cave?
