Any hidden gems?
Greetings fellow adventurers! I've recently delved into the captivating realm of Andor's Trail, and I'm hooked! What are your favorite strategies for mastering the turn-based battles? Any hidden gems, secret quests, or powerful items I should keep an eye out for?

Favorite strategies: take care not to get hit too much. That involves:
try to take on only one monster a time.
Try to kill it quickly (the earlier it dies, the less attacks it can start, the less hits you risk to take).
That involves: High AD and high AC (I'm currently in lvl23 and have spent 5 points in AC and 17 in AD. I have Increased Fortitude (2), regeneration, way of the monk, Dodge)
In case a monster attacs, you don't want the attacks to land, so use BC or Dodge. But my main philosophy is a dead monster can't hit you, so better get rid of them.
Learn which monsters are safe to engage and which should be considered dangerous. Stay away from the latter if you have a permadeath character.

I don't agree with always killing them if they can mob you. One strategy is to stay close to the start of the map. Knock down one monster until it is almost dead, then flee. Repeat this for as many of the other monsters as you can. Then wade in and kill all of them, and head to the next map.
