Missing husband

Hey guys! I am new here. I found the forum while strugglig with the missing husband quest. I found the husband behind the haystack and reported it to his wife. Then after I am not able to find the husband anymore. Does he go outside the map? I have searched as far as fallhaven but no traces.

He is still in Crossglen, but he hides in a place nobody really would expect
