What do you mean with 'deeper parts of the mine': the barrier near Arghest? Or the stairs later?

I was at the entrance to Elm mine but can't go any deeper into it...I've done all the Prim/Blackwater quests and the Flagstone and Green Maze and Graveyard king ones too...

You missed a BWM quest. It was added later.
Look for a hole on the mountain
