cloth equipment and way of the monk style

im kind of stuck grinding from level 64 and im trying to explore the areas east of foaming flask tavern (with the

wild cats and butterflies

) nearly died because im using a permadeath character, phew...

and i don't see much cloth gear that would increase my AC or BC by much, i get that that just might be how cloth armor is, still idk how to get my character better equipment with the way of the monk unarmed style. i got some good rings and necklase but that will only increase my capabilities so far obviously. ( i did waste a skill point in light armor prof. but that was before the way of the monk skill was added, still kinda my fault though)

and yes ik this a heavy grinding game and i love that dont get me wrong. just looking for thoughts and tips on my situation and on the way of the monk style
