Keeping Cithurn's talisman

I got this from Cithurn himself but...
In greedy option, what would be the benefit for keeping the talisman itself? Is there any other use for this?

I'm not going to directly answer that, but we never allow you to give up an item that is necessary later on. So since you can give it up, it will not be necessary.
