I'll admit to using the "save and reload" method if I get killed, especially if its because I took my eyes off the screen for 1 second and 2 creatures regenerated right next to me and teamed up, or if I press on them but don't get first attack and they end up killing me (this might be an issue with my phone, I'm still on the original Moto Droid but upgrading as soon as the Nexus Prime is available).

But that rarely happens. I usually manage to sneak up on them and get first attack, and they usually don't get a chance to hit back. There's a few times I've gone down to nearly dead, but I have bone meals, and regular potions (some of them drop 3 at a time) to heal up. If its not too low, I use the shadow of the slayer.

I entered the cave with only 65 hp and i was shaking in my Woodcutter's boots. I am slowly going up in HP again.

I've gotten killed when my health was down in the 80s and 70s. If they do all the damage in one round my 7,483 Bonemeal, 1,600 health, and 1k meat won't do me a bit of good...

Speaking of, do you actually drink or eat any health items other than Bonemeal? You should sell that stuff and buy Bonemeal for the superb gold:hp ratio...

Corpse Eater, Regeneration, RoLS is generally enough to get me most of the way. Might wait in a corner for a bit, or if I get impatient I'll use some potions. Have been sticking with regular potions as I seem to pick them up more often than I need them. I tend to kill most before they know what hit them, even when they are in groups, Quickstrike Dagger is cool. Also tend to survive the first round of hits at a low amount of points should I ever face 4 that surprise me, after which too many will be dead to seriously hurt me. Possibly damage reduction helps me a little. I still have 6 skill points left should I really want to make sure I don't die in that cave anymore (love the idea of just putting it in Cleave and never have problems with groups again, but my automatically increasing hitpoints should take care of it eventually).

I do actually use the Regular Potions of Health just to get my HP back up to full when i get hit but not devistated from a baddie. I have so much gold at this point i dont care about money, i do try to not use the bonemeal unless i need to heal for 20 or more. If its under 20 i use regular potions or meats.

My only consern with putting skills into gaining DR is that eventually baddies can do up to 90 damage in one turn alone, taking 2-3 points off of 90 isnt really much of an effect.

That is also my consern with regeration as well. When you have alot of HP (because its required to get regeration) and the effect only heals a lil bit at a time i dont seem to get much of an effect out of it because i am always in a battle on running to the next fight and i dont want to wait for the regeneration to heal me more than just 1 or 2 hp.

I snagged up Regeneration 3 because of the debate I had about the RoLS. The play and pause is a really good strategy for long days at work. Half way through the Iqhan cave there is a 'V' shape in the path. At the bottom, there are two sets of 2 Thralls that never move side to side. You can sit there to make sure you don't get dragged into a battle (stopping the respawn timer) or hit (possibly killing you, but more importantly, stopping the regeneration timer).

Well, we don't yet have baddies that do that consistently and in the mean time it saves me a lot on potions, I figure that by the time I run into those I'll have the regeneration up a little higher as well. Also I let my HP increase by Increased Fortitude, I have only very few times actually leveled HP. I would love some DR, but I don't want to put the levels or skills in BC (have actually put 0 levels or skills in there, yes, they will hit me). I just have 1 item that's usefull enough and that has DR.

There are actually more places in the iqhan cave where you can savely stand without getting attacked, though not nearly as many as in the gargoyle caves.
