Finally made the map:

How about the character stares at the pond, then starts reflecting on his journey, but ends up falling in?
Could be the start of an underwater quest, or maybe not.
I'm still open to suggestions, however.

Looks nice. Trees seem to line up with adjacent maps too. Actually, just adding it would at least fill the annoying hole. Even if there is no content on it (yet).
