He doesnt need be be fully solved in a single patch. I actually think he will be quite more interesting if u build on him every or every second patch instead. That way everyone will want to find out whats new about craftsman after every patch. I think it would be interesting to have people anticipate something new from him in every update.

Not for free of course. Especially, for the best items maybe he requires an Oegyth crystal. For others, just gold. Such a trader already exists, it only requires that he offers more options. Never a legendary item though. Those are only by very rare drop chance. No exceptions to that rule.

Well crafting a legendary item would only make sense if ingredients are legendary. Besides RoLs i am not seeing any other legendary item getting reforged into a better legendary rn. However you can make a legendary ingredients drop. For an example, blueprints themselves could vary in rarity. Blueprints for legendary item will of course be legendary. So to craft a legendary item u first need to obtain a legendary blueprint as a drop from a certain mob. After that you would need to obtain legendary ingridients like "Shining Steel" that would drop from certain mobs as well. Blueprint could ask for Brimhaven rigid plate mail, Shining steel, Fire essence which is extraordinary drop. You get a legendary heavy armor with immolation effect as a result. That way you can introduce few more legendary items over time. Similarly you can introduce extraordinary items.

A small detail: I don't like the word blueprint for Andor's Trail, maybe better something like recipe or formula. Blueprint sounds too technical for our medieval world.

I am fine with any word you would prefer for it. Crafting manual would be quite decent in this context i think.

This would be 2 much content for an npc that can not exist in your game. I do not think he is the right choice for this type of content
