Just wondering it would be good to have some sort of chart to let you know how many of a certain monster you have killed when for instance searching for a legandry item

I don't look for Legendary items, so it would be only cool to me just so I could see what I've murdered.

I only bother because getting them is a challenge. I just figured someone who actually wants them might see the counter and realize how bad their luck is. But I guess others drops do that count for them. I could argue both sides probably, but I don't see the counter helping much since we can estimate the number from other drops anyway.

Perhaps have a monster kill reward chart that lets us know what we've killed and have a reward for a certain amount of kills ,
ex-200 rats-some sort of drop say +1HP or some gold for instance ,the tougher the monster the better the reward
ex-500 anklebitters-+1HP+gold+a good drop item
it would give us something else to play for while waiting for a new realese and help us also keep an eye on what we've killed when searchin for certain items ,ex-leg and extra items,

I would also like a monster kill count just so I can have an exact count instead of estimating by dropped items. Even if I still don't have a RoLS (for example) it would be nice to know if I killed 1,000 or 10,000 gargolye trainers & masters, just to see how the odds are working for me.

But I don't think there should be any reward for killing a certain number of anything, outside of the XP and drop items we already get.

Maybe after a set number we get more used to killing a type of monster so it drops less gold/xp and the item rates go down and make drop items harder to obtain?

I don't think drop rates should go down... That would be devastating to those poor souls that have been denied a RoLS despite months of searching. I bet, to them, it already feels like the drop rates have been decreasing. I like the idea of kill quests, some already exist: rats, bees, large bees, skeletons etc. but they are fairly small numbers. However, I think you may have it backwards, people are already killing the toughest monsters en masse. Special rewards should be given to one who wastes a stupid amount of time killing something menial like humans or yellow ants.

A simple stats page of this type of information would be interesting.

Rewards, or punishments, especially game altering ones, are best left to other things like interesting quests and such than your kill count.

I like the idea of an achievement based system. Certainly kill count could play a small factor in a few achievements but that is really a broader topic for a different thread.
