No. A., I don't have a USB cable to connect my phone to my PC (how much do they cost?)
B., I like to be able to simply backup without having to involve my pc as this prevents me from saving the back up right away.

Scott,

Is windows explorer able to browse your phone's directory?

I think you can find a USB cable for pretty cheap on Amazon or maybe monoprice.

Or if you have a router set up at home, you can get the app WiFi File Explorer (I got the Pro version, I think it was on sale and the regular one is free) which will allow you to save files to your PC without a cable. It takes longer for large files (like pictures) but it works fine for Andors Trail game saves.

I made a folder on my SD card to keep an extra copy of my game saves in, because I have 2 separate games and even though I use 2 slots for each, I've accidentally erased over both with the wrong game a few times now, so I have the save on my SD card so I can immediately restore my last backed up save from my phone. I usually save the current slots a couple times a day, or after getting a rare drop item, or a level up.

I save to my laptop (either using Wifi File Explorer or a USB cable) once a week, usually on the weekend. I've also thought about e-mailing the file to myself to keep it alive in case either my SD card or my laptop breaks, but I haven't started that yet.

Or you could do what I now do. Use a file explorer to get the save file and from your phone upload it to a cloud or skydrive. Many are free (or have a free version). I use a few, but usually DropBox. That way I can access the file from anywhere without needing to tap my computer remotely to do so. :)

I run linux most of the time so I have only had experience with Win 7, and in that case yes I can.
