Many ideas are being put forward to help improve this game and I know this has already been suggested by a few. One of my favourite attributes of an RPG are really tough bosses. You all know the ones I'm talking about. You eventually win a long drawn out battle with a tough boss but are left half broken. Massive loss of HP even after using potions. But standing over the corpse of the boss that took ages to beat you notice the treasure drops are worth it. Perhaps some armour that made the boss so hard to beat or other exciting magical items. Many have suggested that the bosses are too soft currently.
Just putting this forward again - Sorry if its a total repeat.

Another thing that could be done is to have sub-bosses you have to fight first to get to the big boss. And maybe the big boss has a weapon that gives him +1 HP on every hit.

IMHO, I feel that the boss for the Snake Cave is set to hard consittering that it drops such a weak weapon at the begining of the game. I feel like all the other bosses could be harder to help even it out a lil bit. Maybe just raise the CC &/or CM on the other bosses to make them harder.

yeah, an occasional critical hit would add a sense of danger...
plus it's a simple fix on the development side.
sub bosses, or bosses surrounded by high level / upper class mobs...
bosses with added abilities [functional items drops?] to balance the gap between Bonemeal & BWM
how about just throwing a bunch of 'badguys' in the empty cabins for us to hunt down (quest?)
an infamous group that split up - to hide & we go after their heads?
or rare / random, extremely brutal bandit(s) on the roads...
asking a HUGE bribe (to save the weak)... but then dropping tons of gold if slain?
better than snake hunting!
an EPIC boss battle you have to go to extensive trouble to find, only to say you beat him.
maybe give us a dark grey / black colored bag as a trophy...
