Hide and Seek

Just a little interesting point:
I think the hide and seek kid had an unfortunate accident. I've played all the way through, and he should hide a large number of times, but on my last attempt, after only a couple of shots, he actually vanished and did not reappear, and he didn't say that he was going home.

What happens if the wandering "commoner" happens to be standing on the space that the hide and seek kid attempts to land on?

(just to clarify, it isn't just that I can't find him. as noted, I've played through all of his hiding spots. I went through the entire map tile by tile and tried to force myself against all walls and other things. He is really gone.)

At least someone has the same issue as me. They were just making jokes of me because I couldn't find him anymore.
