This may or may not be the right forum to say this, but I'll just be brief. As of yesterday, it's been exactly 2 months since making the announcement that the beta of the new version was out, and I've been following the posts to stay somewhat updated, and like many here, I'm just way too excited for words, and just can't wait to play it! Your work here is not in vain. Beliebee me, it'll be well worth it and much loved when it does come out. Thx guys for all you do! Much love

Well, this sounded to like a new baldur's gate was out . Installed and just looked around a bit. Sorting is good idea. Sliding is not my thing. It feels unnatural. And though it seems you worked on it, original start page was good and refined (not pixelated). Now it seems i am playing on what they call .emulator...for the old games. I will definitely go the unchartered areas first Thanks to all..

Hello blu, and welcome to the forums.

By "sliding" do you mean the smoother motion of the hero sprite? If so, I'm not sure why you would prefer erratic motion to smooth motion.

Sorry you don't like the new start screen. The old one was just a few monster sprites in the middle of nothing, and really needed to be replaced. We kind of like the new one, and the older style look is deliberate. Regardless, unless a qualified pixel artist gets involved, it's as good as it's going to get
