It's beginning to look a lot like...

Whichever holiday tradition you choose to celebrate! And may you celebrate it with loved ones, good food, and fun times.

My wife and I will be putting up our tree later this week and getting ready for our yearly winter camping trip as a part of our Yule tradition. So, in that vein, how do Trailers celebrate the holidays? What is you favourite tradition?

Me: as I noted my wife and I go camping every year at this time. We hang our hammocks in snow-covered trees by a lake, enjoy hot dinners and mulled wine, and just luxuriate in the time away from devices with our noses in books and snowshoeing. It's not everyone's gig but it is ours. The mulled wine is the best part :)

Yikes! Camping in Canada at Christmas? In a tent?

Me and my wife are off to Southern Arizona. Last year we went to Mexico City. Sun and warmth (and, of course, wine)!

Nope, in hammocks! I'd don't like sleeping on the ground. :)

I assume you have a very good sleeping bag ;)

I have been winter camping in Scotland, but that was many years ago. I find that as I get older it gets harder to deal with cold :(

More than just sleeping bags, we have top-quilts and under-quilts. Our blog: Motorcycle Hammock Camping You can see what I mean in the equipment reviews.

I'm pushing 50 but don't mind the cold so much. It's the heat that I can't handle. I don't like to head too far south :)
