Title Screen - A little help from the Players?

It is getting complicated. There are a lot of good designs, and even more elements that could be used to create more variations. Overall, I like the design Nut picked out, but I think the leather Nyktos used is better, both the color and the texture. I think the font in the title needs to be a little bolder too.

I agree, I think maybe a little bolder if that's possible. A colored logo I think looks good but stands out too much. Maybe remove the shadow, dim the color a bit and pop the outline just a bit. I don't think the shadow of the logo works on the cover of a book. It's either too much color or too dim.

So, nyktos' leather background substituted in for the flat red one; and a better balance between the font for the name and the logo underneath, it sounds like people are saying.

Especially with the darker leather, a thin black line font isn't enough - it needs to have some depth and maybe a brighter color, even if only as highlight and or fill. A plus if that brighter color is also called out in the logo.

Maybe we should have a pole for the best title screen. Everyday it's getting complicated to decide which one is best because most of them are good.

I partially agree. I think before we do that we should poll on the best individual elements, like the logo, the text, etc. Then give it a couple of days while we work on designs using the highest rated components. After that we vote on the best design.

Yeah, I think polling on individual aspects of the title would benefit us more. Otherwise, we will be running in circles.
