Waiting screen ATCS

Is something wrong if ATCS keeps me waiting to create a project? This hasn't happened before and I have used ATCS for a while. Please, help.

Do you mean when launching ATCS, or trying to create a project from the menu? Both take a while, so how long are you waiting?

I 'cloned or downloaded' the Stout file that Zukero put on Github. Then I tried to create a project from the menu. A small screen pops up and says 'please wait...' I waited for 30 minutes and no show. Then I tried with the original apk and still, there was no response.

Edit: I fixed the problem. I went back to the ATCS topic on the forum and just realized it showed a different ATCS version than mine. I had v0.4.4 and so I uninstalled it and downloaded v0.4.8. Now it works thank God. However, it doesn't look any different than the original file which also had all the Stoutford JSON files in it. Is there a difference b/w them?

You are running version 0.4.4. The latest version is 0.4.8. Try installing that, and see if it makes any difference.

I'm not sure what you mean by that. This branch has the sources for Stoutford: https://github.com/Zukero/andors-trail/ ... ford_tests. The version of ATCS you are running should not change what you see as content in those sources, except to the extent that an old version may be incompatible with them (as you have discovered )

The branch for the sources of Stoutford (stoutford_tests) is the same as the branch for the Master sources (https://github.com/Zukero/andors-trail), is that right? If not, why do they both have the same exact sprites, maps, & JSON data, inclusive of everything Stoutford? Am I mistaken?

No, they are different. For example, the Stoutford tests branch sources contain actorconditions_stoutford.json, the main branch sources do not. In fact, none of the Stoutford stuff is in the main branch.

That's strange. Both files andors-trail-master & andors-trail-stoutford_tests are identical on my computer. Anyway, I could just redownload it or something.
