Hi!
I´m here in this section to post a question, not about the gameplay, but I think that´s the right section to post this.
Well,I´m trying to make some monsters, quests, items and Actor conditions in the Content editor, but I want to test that things after make a pull request on Git or post here my work. The question is:
--> Is possible to test your own content using Bluestacks,or something like that?
--> If is not possible,Could you consider to make something to test the content?
If there is a way and It´s obvious, sorry for my ignorance.
Greetings,Omicronrg9.

Re: Test Monsters/Quests/Items
Hello.
Did you use the online content editor, or ATCS ? If it's not ATCS, check it out here http://andorstrail.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4806
As for how to test your content in bluestacks, a VM, or your device, check out the contribution guide there http://andorstrail.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4560
It has all you need to know to create your own debug version with your content. For easy testing, I recommend using VirtualBox and android-x86.
Hope it helps.

Re: Test Monsters/Quests/Items
Many have reported that a lot of files of BlueStacks could carry a virus. I tried downloading from their own website thinking it was safe, but got a 'Media Trojan Horse'. That was on another computer and taken care of successfully but a pain at first. Watch out!Zukero wrote:Hello.

Re: Test Monsters/Quests/Items
What's more, bluestacks is not free software. I thus cannot recommend it. Create a VM with VirtualBox, and install the x86 port of Android available at android-x86.org
You'll need more skills than for bluestacks, but it's nothing too arcane either.

Re: Test Monsters/Quests/Items
Creating the Virtual machine...
I was using the Online content studio, because I didn´t know the existence of ATCS (I´m new in the forum as you know).Probably I´ll use ATCS now.
Thank you for ask me the question,I hope I can finish my quests anyway and post them.
Greetings,Omicronrg9.

NP. If you encounter issues with either ATCS, either setting up a testing environment, do not hesitate to post questions here or to PM me.
