Exactly
Exactly, that was my point.
Indeed.
Yes, exactly !
I think we're getting mind-connected

Ok, so, Angel class would probably like more than three presets as they can fit any class and use its corresponding equipment set (preset)for any situation.twirlimp wrote: Ok so I'll replace the buttons with load/save/del which are accessed by pressing the main shield button. But how do you propose they switch selections? Should the save/load button open a separate menu to choose a preset name? That would work.
I could also add the feature of making as many presets as they like, if it's going to be handled this way. They enter a preferred name and it's saved.
Yes the save/load will lead to separate menus. You see a list of old presets and there's a textbox to enter the name of new preset/old preset to overwrite/old preset to load.Voom wrote:Ok, so, Angel class would probably like more than three presets as they can fit any class and use its corresponding equipment set (preset)for any situation.twirlimp wrote: Ok so I'll replace the buttons with load/save/del which are accessed by pressing the main shield button. The save/load button I think should lead to a separate menu. I believe temporary menus are a better fit when room on the inventory screen is running low.
Could you provide any pictures for when you want to switch presets during combat, please?
Ok, perfect. Combat sounds good, too.twirlimp wrote: Yes the save/load will lead to separate menus. You see a list of old presets and there's a textbox to enter the name of new preset/old preset to overwrite/old preset to load.
As for combat, well probably the button will open the load menu as usual. Or it'll be like that pic I sent earlier about press to switch selection and then long-press to load. It could work if we make it rotate between the most recently used 5 presets.
I expect to start adding the save/load menus this weekend, but first I'll have to separate the favorites/preset code and all the related save/load/assign/equip code.
My rest & relaxation vacation is over so it's hard to promise a deadline, but yeah.

Your vacation is over? Oh noEven so, I think you would be still more active than most. I wish you a great semester, it is your first priority
Good luck!
Some things to notice wrote: - During combat, you can see how much AP you need to equip the preset (or the rest of it).
- You can have as many presets as you like.
- You get a confirmation message when deleting/overwriting if you have it enabled in the preferences.
(The same preference as the one for save games)
- I added a "Favorites" section that you can add other items to.
It's only one section, but if our fearless leader decides to add the sorting buttons, then it'll be easy to find what you need.
- I removed the presets button from the toolbox. It wasn't working out and not currently necessary tbh.
Yay!Zukero wrote:Looks awesome. I'll have to try the APK now.
Voom wrote:It looks excellent, bravo! Don't worry about prest in the toolbox for now. The way i see it, it seems pretty fast to switch in and out of presets this way.
Unlimited presets,
No need for resets;
It's still quite snappy,
Angel class is happy.
