Translation in french

Hi all,

I have looked at the existing French translation files in svn and fixed a few errors. I have open an issue (http://code.google.com/p/andors-trail/i ... ail?id=195) on google code but was not able to attach any file to the issue with the patch. I found this forum only later on, sorry for that. How can I send my fixes ?

I have also translated actorconditions.xml and started to translate monsterlist.xml (73% complete). I would also like to send these files and get some reviews for my translation suggestions.

Would it be possible to synchronize work on this ?

As this forum is public, I guess it's better to stick to English when posting so anybody can follow what's going on but of course ... si vous préférez utiliser la langue de Molière, cela reste possible !

I've been making progress on the french translation since a few days now, and am still working on it quite regularly. If someone else wants to help, please post here so we can discuss it and avoid getting conflicts!

Hi, we (5 computing students from Lille University) are currently working on the Lauchpad, translating untranslated items. We also got the fr.po and strings.xml (french version obviously) files as well.

For your information, we've almost finished our "correction" and translation of fr.po.

Yep, that would do it.
Simply letting it rest on launchpad works too, as when I build a new testing version for the team, it generally includes the latest translations available on launchpad.
The strings.xml however, is best sent through pull request, so you can bundle the fr.po there as well !

Gotcha, we are going to submit a pull request with strings.xml (as soon as we're done with this file) plus fr.po.

At the same time,two of use are currently working on the launchpad.
