No GoW
Currently sitting at 321 burnt ash and 154 reinforced black axes and no gem(s) of warmth... I'm not sure if this is some sort of bug brought on by an inventory combination or something, or just incredibly bad luck.

Ash Spawn are 50 times more likely to drop a Reinforced Black Axe than a GoW, so if you are killing Ash Spawn it's just bad luck, although not hugely so. However, other monsters in the mine also drop Reinforced Black Axes and burnt ash, but not the GoW, so maybe you are killing monsters that don't drop the GoW.

I'm going through 3 or so the rooms with the largest concentration of ash spawn, but there are a lot of gargoyles there, too. Tough ash spawn is the only one on my most killed list so far with around 800 of them. My last build ended up with one right around the correct number of indicator items, so i'm just going to keep on grinding. If i still don't have one in a couple of weeks i may send in my save file. Hoping it's just bad luck and will even out with finally getting me a RoL when i head over to BWM to go for it.

It's just luck. I got my RoLS after only about 150 kills. It took me about 8000 kills to get my RoL.

Right, it's unfortunately just luck. So can nver bs sure when you will definirely het such a precious drop. I hope you will acquire that item soon.

When I get GoW ,I had 154 reinforced black axe and 353 burned ash.The GoW appeared when I was talking to my girlfriend about a exam.After I said day of luck

Tomas, I finally got it! 1250 tough ash spawn. Not sure how many other ash spawn, as they didn't make it onto my top kills list. It was one of the most frustrating grinds I've encountered so far, but it is done. I may go back for a second in a couple months. It's onward to the ChaR and ShaF now!
