not sure why you'd want one, other than just for the colletion shelf. get the chaosreaper if you haven't already, it is much more useful.

I've tried myriad equipment combinations in an effort to make the Shadowfang useful. Assuming you can absorb the HP hit, the best I've come up with is dual-wield in tandem with maximum Enduring Body skill -- marvelous AC boost while minimizing the fatigue impact.

Shouldn't it be the other way around? I mean having 20%chance of doing minor fatigue instead of receiving? Because the -20 hp is already quite big downside.

It is the way it is. The creator of that item wanted the condition inflicted on the player. It's totally plausible that somebody could get tired from wielding a weapon

Extraordinary items are extraordinary. That just means very unusual, not necessarily very good.
