Images & dialog boxes

Hi,
I have recently installed the 0.7.0, and I found some curious symptoms.
The images of the items, monsters, npcs won't load properly. Every time when I go into the inventory grey swords appear first for all of the items, and the image of my character in the conversations. I sholud click on the items or moving toward in the conversations for the correct images. (Monsters in the attack confirmation messages are also grey swords. )

In addition, sometimes the dialog boxes are smaller than the text inside. However in these occasions it can be scrolled.

Currently I'm using an Xperia Ray with an Andorid 4.0.4 (4.1.B.0.587), but I played before with older versions on a Gingerbread also, and I didn't notice these.

I have read the briefing of the #34, but there is a great silence about it since then. No hope for the fix?

Actually, this is two bugs. And since these are pretty persistent for me, I can reproduce them very easy.
Can I help something to narrow down the source of the problem?

well, who else is playing with a three inch screen???
they should all be able to reproduce this, as it seems like a screen size issue...

i have seen other devs work around this,
but there is no easy work around - especially when coding for the massive amount of android devices...

The screen size itself is not the root cause for sure.
I've tested on an Xperia Mini (Gingerbread), and there is no problem at all.
But I have an idea.
I noticed that the size of the d-pad is a bit smaller on the Mini, than on the Ray, despite of the smaller screen size.
The Ray has a 3.3" screen with 480x854 resolution. Its aspect ratio is 16:9.
The Mini has a 3" screen with 320x480 resolution. Its aspect ratio is 4:3.

Maybe the size of the elements are aligned only to the vertial resolution of the screen?

Ouch. And here I thought a 4.3" 480x800 screen was tiny

That sounds like a pretty good guess to me Positive.

I have not had any problems like this from my phone.
