Forums getting spammed

The script I made used to not check your IP, username, or email address after registration. We got a lot of spam so I have it check before every time they try and post. I am sure we will still get a few spammers and maybe a few regular members might need to reset their IP's every once in a while but the changes seemed to of cut down on the amount of spam drastically.

I've had to reset my IP a couple times but that is a good tradeoff for having no spam posts. =)

I've noticed as well, it does not seem too bad at the moment, but we'll see.

It seems to just be a few of them, but they are hiding the spam in old topics, please remember to report any that you find.

If I am, is there a way were we can tie the download of AT to the website? Like in order to create an account here you have to download the game and when you download the game a password comes up in the help section on the home screen so when you come to this.site you have to put in the code as a one time thing to weed out the spammers.

Awesome idea, this forum is ment for players of the game only, so nonplayers have nothing to do here. At least it will bring the amount of downloads up in Google Play

Thanks thy. Yes my idea would work in 2 ways.
1) it would allow player who have an account to come to the site and not have to worry about reading spam. But all would have to verify with the game password.
2) it would allow the site to still have guest but in order for them to post they would have to verify with the game password and then have them verify with an email.

So if this idea comes into place, it will cut off maybe all spammers due to they wont download the game.
