Rat meat- restores 10 hp increase chance of black plague per raw meat u eat. Restores 15 hp if cooked
Frog- restores 15 hp increase chance of poison pre raw meat you eat. Restores 20 hp if cooked
Snakes- same as frog
Boar- keep as is in game
K9- restores 20 hp increase chance of saru of coming up and killing you lol. Lowers block. Restores 25 hp if cooked

If what i am remembering is correct there will be changes coming to how food heals you.
Old set up:
Healing items such as potions and food have an immediate healing effect
New!:
Food will heal over time... (Instead of heals 12HP, it might heal 2HP every round for 6 rounds)

I don't think everything that drops meat should drop an individualized type of meant, otherwise I would always have like 10 different kinds of meat at one time. I think some creatures (brutes/snakes) should have their own meat, but some creatures should simply drop 2 - 3 meats instead.
