You being new is part of it, but not in the way you think. Most ideas "new" members suggest have been suggested 100's of times. You just havn't been around quite long enough to know what ideas have been discussed time and time again. Do not get discouraged, most ideas take months to discuss and even more months to actually put it in if it is a good fit. It is a slow proscess, but it ensures it gets done right. And even if your idea isn't a good fit, it might get you or someone else thinking of a way to get it to fit in.

IMHO I would rather get an idea shot down than not even mention the idea. (In fact, most of our idea to actual content ratios are extremely low)

The more support to get started with my Ideator role, as soon as I have serious extra time...

I disagree. This idea has been brought up before and debated, and generally been set aside, for reasons like the ones I gave. It's not about shooting down ideas because they come from newbies, and it's not shooting down ideas without much thought.

Lots of good ideas come from new posters. Also lots of ideas take time to take root in any community.

Don't get discouraged because your first set of ideas don't wow everyone. Keep playing, keep posting, keep reading...

Hey Zen there all right in what they say. I remember my 1st idea it was the.valley of the dragon quest lol it ended with maybe 5 pages and now I have a quest that's 20 pages long and maybe put into the game. It takes time bro. And as for me I got alot of time haha. Keep up the good work tho. Even if people think your ideas are bad maybe someone can come along, tweak your idea, and in no time your idea becomes great.
