It is not an rpg, but I have been playing a puzzle game called sporos, its free and the ads are not too intruding. Fun little brain teaser to kill some time.

i was lucky enough to snag them free in the past,
but i still think they are worthy.

Alright I am going to probably get laughed out of here, but lately I have been addicted to Puzzles and Dragons. It is like Bejewled, Pokemon, and an RPG dungeon crawl all rolled into one. It is done pretty nicely.

It sounds similar to Puzzle Quest 2, which I've been playing and having a lot of fun on. Except Puzzles and Dungeons seems to be free.

Puzzle Quest 2 is free for the first town to get an idea of the game and then $4 to unlock the rest (for all characters).

I find the idea of doing a match-3 puzzle to fight monsters to be an interesting way to go.

I played a game like that long ago, except instead of bejewled it was tertris esk. Every line you cleared on the tetris board would get you access to the next level of the dungeon. It was fun but insanely hard.

Never tried that version of Tetris, that sounds like a lot of fun to me.

There's a couple new card games coming out from the makers of Blood Brothers, but better because one is GI Joe, and the other is D&D. If you sign up on their website you can also receive a bonus card.

After finishing and uninstalling Yesterday, I moved on to Bard's Tale, which is fun so far. But I was lazy about grinding to get the good gear so I just bought it through the IAP. I figure it's still less than I would spend on a console game and I'll probably play it more too. I love the humor. Also got Knights of Pen and Paper, which is kind of a virtual D&D with a dungeon master and you pick the players and what characters they play. Pretty fun too.

There's also Tales of Illyria (early access) - it's $4, but so far it's pretty fun and the $4 is half-off if you get it before its fully complete. I've played other games from these devs and they make some good games. Besides AT, it's one of the few games where you have to make choices that affect how the game goes.

Gurk III just got out, for $2 or €1.50 it's yours! Been playing it a lot and I just love this series music is even more awesome and the game is large.
