DR Items from the newest update:

With this update there seems to be a few really easy ways to get a really high DR, from equipment you can get up to DR 9 (plus Bark Skin goes to lvl 5).

I remember seeing the rings at a vendor somewhere too. But searching for them will be difficult though, considering the number of vendors that sell rings
The Jinxed Rings of Damage Resistance are sold from the guy in the cabin on the road to Nor City, East of Vilegard.
