Rocks?

Why does everyone collect rocks? I've been playing this game for a week now (level 15) and I'm just getting the hang of all this stuff, but idk what the point of rocks is. If I go to the gargoyle cave, I collect rocks and sell all my gems? Can someone please tell me how to do this? Thanks

To answer your question, small rocks are used as a guide/counter to estimate the point where you should collect a ring of lesser shadow from the garg trainers located in the garg cave. The drop ratio for a ROLS is 1/10000. The drop rate for small rocks is 1/25. Do the math and you'll understand why players collect them. This merely is an estimate only and should not be used as a definitive guide to when you will collect a ROLS. As for me for example I have 1835 small rocks and I've collected 0 ROLS. There are other players that have collected far less small rocks than I and have collected a ROLS.
