Ok now that makes perfect sense. Same thing happened to me. I don't ever recall fighting, I convinced him to take a break, and he's still there. The quest is completed still. K. Now I completely understand. Thanks everyone!
Also, thanks for the tips about respawning. I'm trying the methods out now.
p.s.- sooooorrrry bout the symbols nyktos. won't happen again.
This is one of the greatest rpg's I've played since Dragon Warrior!! I'm starting to get antsy waiting for the new update.
