"Map Bug" strikes again! (and again?)

over a month ago, i reported respawned bosses & since then - others have as well.
i had a hunch that it was related to "save / reload" tricks...
(seeing as it only happened to my builds that used that specific tactic)
keep in mind, i was flying through screens as fast as they came up.
i was thinking i overloaded the game - i was hitting buttons almost before they appeared

that being said, when i decided to start my final build...
i backed up my old saves - then wiped my phone & card
then i reinstalled AT - and started as fresh as possible.

so, on a clean game (no tricks) after grinding like crazy...
i decided to store my held L&E items at home in the box - with the others
i had a couple in there already & i picked them up to drop in a certain order
when i picked them up - i had them in my inventory AND in the box.

it only worked once - it cloned 3 L&E items.
not cool - i am not going to post them on my stats either.

i then made my way to Prim and saw more problems...
the red guy outside Prim, well... now there are TWO of them
and after entering the town - i see two of the ladies in pink (just east of the entrance)

so, now im getting nervous.
the game i was playing - with no funny business - is glitching out (the worst yet.)
its not harming my game, but i feel a snowball effect coming. (?)
lets hope not! i rather enjoy my three digit level and full L&E set!
so, it leads me to believe the super speedy save/loading i was not the issue

i cant think of a way to reproduce this
(i will keep trying, so it can possibly be fixed - NOT so i get free stuff)
would a Cat Log or Log Cat (or whatever) help???
i would think the report i sent (if i could make it happen again) would be MASSIVE
and almost not worth sending - "needle in a hay stack" ya know?

and one more - did anyone else with respawned bosses do the constant reloading?

I had one respawned boss and I don't emplore the save/reload tactic at all.

Not me. Mine happened while grinding for the GoLF. Loaded save, Left the dagger room, did one sweep of the crypt killing all mobs then back to the dagger room and the graverobber had respawned. So had all other npc and bosses from I think version 0.6.9 and onwards.

An interesting bug here; it seems to affect everyone a little differently.

I had one respawned boss too and I don't think that's a bug at all.. I just ignore them thought that it was normal.. lol noob..

Last weekend I experienced my first "map error" after 1+ years of playing. I left the Iqhan cave after reaching level 123 and headed for the shop in Loneford to sell some used shirts. When I returned to the cave, the NPC was back just inside the cave warning me to turn back. At this point I knew the map was reset and that the Iqhan chaos enslaver would be back and he was. I now have 2 DoSP.

Have you recently made a large qty. purchase at a shop?
(using the "phone tilt" trick to reset the vendors wares...)

I'm trying to find the source before the update.
I have a feeling that pre-existing bugs will cause problems after the change over...

I back up my characters often, so I'm not really concerned for my characters.
It seems to me like once you get the bug - it always gets worse.

No big deal for mobs ...
But now I'm seeing missing NPC's - that's game breaking & will ruin a save.

Truly a tragedy for a character with no safety net to fall back on.
I'm not sure if a patch would restore NPC's?
