942 stones, 1306 ruby gems, 285 polished gems, 1 sharpened gem - no ring. 15 level upgrades in the garg cave. I've lost count on the number of trainer and master kills. If using the 1/25 drop rate on stones...figure roughly over 3600 trainer kills with NO ring.

1432 stones, 1380 ruby gems, 496 polished gems, 0 rings. I was initially selling gems before i realized they meant more to me as a tracking variable than as the 4 gold i could sell them for.
What is this sharpened gem you speak of, I don't remember seeing any of them.

the sharpened gem comes from the k9 cave. i kept it on the chance it might be critical in the new update being i've only seen 1 of them drop anywhere.

Got my 1st ring weeks ago and at that time I had 647 rocks. I now have 1263 and still searching for that 2nd ring.

I received my first ring around 700 rocks. Since then I've lost interest in the grind at around 1000 rocks.

I have four of the purple sharpened gems, and have been wondering where I got them, since I can not remember the event. By k9, I assume you mean the wolf lair. Thanks for the info.
I sell most of the ruby and polished gems, keeping just 100 of each, figuring that is enough for any future need.
