Does anyone know when Attack chance & block chance are basically maxed out. And does the Action Points increase on its own as you level up?

AP is maxed @ 10 but you will be able to "skill-up" to 12 in version 0.6.10.
Jewel of fallhaven will take -1 from the ap required for your weapon.

Also, some weapons grant a boost to AP as well, such as the Shadow of the Slayer, which raises it by 2.

Unfortunately, the catch with the SotS is that it has an attack cost of 7, so even with the Jewel of Fallhaven which brings it down to 6, you can only attack twice, but depending on your AC and AD, that might be enough.

Even after the next update, if you use the skills to add 2 AP, your total with the weapon is 14, and speed potion would bring that up to 16, still not enough for a 3rd hit :(

I plan to use this weapon more after I have a better AC so I can make those 2 hits count more. Or on monsters with a lower block chance. It'd be nice to be able to use it after all the trouble to complete the Kazul quest.

Edit: I was just playing a little and decided to equip the Shadow of the Slayer and give it another try. With my recent AD (26 w/the 2 +6 damage rings) I can now kill the young and White Wyrms in 2 hits, or 1 if I get a critical, and the Auleth's in 3-4. The +1 HP recovery on every kill is helpful too. I still end up losing more HP than I get back, but its good to know that at higher AC & AD levels, this weapon becomes more useful even against monsters that can cause fatigue.
