How is this done?
I've read about this tip for the cave a few times can't figure out how to do it.

Select Small Rocks in your inventory then hold. Two choices will appear: Info or drop.
Without this forum I would never have known. I find people very friendly and helpful here. Thanks to all.

When I read about dropping rocks in the dark caves, I immediately thought "Hey great ! I'll just have to crawl through them once and mark all the way !"
However, they drop as loot, and each time you walk back on one of them, you get prompted to pick them up (which i can refuse of course). I so don't want to hit "close" at every step in the dark caves that I'll restrain myself from doing so (maybe one at each turn/intersection).

However, I think it would be a great feature to be able to "use" rocks in a way that will place them as a marker on the current tile. Never getting them back is not an issue, they sell for 0, and are easy as PIE to get.
Think of it as an "Hansel and Grettel"-reference feature

Oskar, if you ever read that, would you consider it for 0.6.10 or 0.6.11 ?

Nice talk. I thought this was a family/kid friendly forum.

Don't drop a rock on every square that you should step on through the dark maze. Drop one at every corner, or in some memorable pattern.

Sorry for the bad language. Rest assured, I will make sure to stay kids-friendly in my future posts.

Randy : sure I could, but wouldn't it be nice to mark a way with stones (not necesserarily limited to dark areas) ??
