As I grind through the gargoyle dungeon hoping for a RoLS, I have noticed that sometimes after a battle is over and successfully won, that the pop-up screen displaying that I have survived the battle doesn't pop-up. This happens fairly rarely, but I have noticed that I do receive the earned exp. While this is a minor flaw, I just thought that I would post my experience to see if others are experiencing this bug as well. I have only noticed this in the gargoyle dungeon.

This can happen with any monster you are fighting. It even happens in the new maps from time to time.

You can go into the settings and even turn of the pop up or have it where it pops up and goes away.

This happens anytime the NPC does not drop anything (this includes money) You still get the XP but to clarify, the pop up window has nothing to do with survival but is a loot window. Obviously if there is nothing to loot then you don't get a loot window.

This makes sense. No Items, no need for a popup window.

I was about to write this up as a bug when I saw it already posted. After reading the comments I have a though on this.

Perhaps it should be a code tweak to display the loot / experience window even when there isn't any loot. I just looks like a bug to me when the victory confirmation window doesn't display and apparently I am not the only one. Personally I prefer always seeing a confirmation dialog showing me how much EXP I got for the kill.

I agree. Personally I would prefer that, but it's cool without as well.

Again, it's not a victory confirmation window, it's a loot window. What I would really like to see is an XP floater above your head just like you get when you receive damage, let it linger for slightly longer and make sure the font face is larger and possibly a gold colour. Then remove the XP from the loot window itself.

This sounds very good. I would like it to be that way.

Come on guys, you are nit-picking here. It is fine the way it is working! Showing the xp gained per victory is not this crucial.

I agree with tek on this. We all know we won, 'cause the monster's not there any more and we are, and we certainly believe by now that we are getting the EP whether we see the box or not, so what's the big deal?
