I found a spot that says if this tree wasn't there,my question is is there a way to get rid of the tree or is it a work in the process??

Are you south of the woodcutter's settlement and north of Crossglen?

North just after I drop down the rope to get back to the castle

Just above the sheep herder and the boy with marbles

There's a quest that will send you in that direction
