The heist of Fallhaven

I've picked up AT again, after years of taking a break and I am very pleasantly surprised.
The kid set items are a great boost for the start area, and made the first levels pleasant without the need to grind. I'm lvl 18 now and I can say that you guys have made this game a lot better for a new player's experience.
Now back to the subject of this post,
With this char I was leaning towards the shadow and the thief's guild ( loved the Thief I&II games), and this interaction ( can't call it a quest as it can not be found on the directory) brought me a very nice surprise, similar to finding my first RoLS a lot of years ago.
I've tried searching for this on the board, but maybe my search skills are not great.
Next I'm thinking if I should go farm RoLS again or just quest and explore this whole lot of content you guys added.
Thank you for the hours of masochistic fun tapping on my screen.

Don't spend too much time in the Gargoyle cave though, unless you want to become overpowered and want to experience the further quests in a walk through instead of a challenge

And it looks like the game rng agreed with you, not much time spent. After only 640 gargoyle trainers and masters for the first RoLS, on this char. "The ring yearned above all else to return to the hand of it's master."
*Edit: The second one dropped after 1100 kills, I hope I did not use all my rng luck.
As a tip for the Gargoyle cave low-ish lvl prep:
Found a use for one of the many small rocks in Brimhaven, and found a great book - World History. Great writing, offered a lot of depth and detail to the lore.

What use is that?

One of the many small rocks you get from farming for RoLS (and from other monsters) can be used for a short and fuzzy quest in Brimhaven
.

Who is the guy who helps you get JoF?
Was it added in a newer update?
