Echoes of Enchantment

Hi, and thanks to the dev team for a fun game, and also for the updates.
I found this game some years ago, forgot it, and found it again just before the last update.

re starting echoes of enchantment:
I've found the well and started chucking stuff down. is there any clues in the game for what item or sequence is needed, or do we just have to try our luck?

It is not based on luck, you just need to throw down the right item.
Although it is a common item, it could happen that you have dropped or sold all of it. Then it's luck if you find the right one, because there's no hint. So I'll give you a hint here:

Look for a certain journal here in the village and find the chilled item. Bring one of these to the well.

so there is a clue in the village
I did complete the quest (didn't find out how to get the stormcloak armor though).
I guess sometimes it pays to be a mean sob.....
