teleportation

I would suggest adding teleportation to reach certain distant areas: maybe adding a mission where they ask us to collect certain materials to build a teleportation pad, just to make things more interesting.

We might add teleport to a new distant area, but not to Remgard or similar areas. That would have certain disadvantages and lead to other problems.

It's worth noting that there
is already teleportation in the game, but only over short distances like
Perhaps long-range teleportation doesn't work in Dhayavar because of magnetic interference from all the minerals in the mountains.

Oh, I just see it's your first post - welcome to our forum
You can't know that teleportation is often wanted, especially from or towards Remgard.
This option wasn't planned from the start of development though and it would totally debalance the game:
It is an open world, you can go almost anywhere, you just have to be strong enough for it. But to be strong means to get enough XP that you mostly get by killing monsters.
A long route to Remgard has many strong monsters, so each journey helps to level up. Teleport would bypass them.
But because you need the XP, so you would have to grind killing monsters over and over, wich is rather boring.
This is why I said I can imagine teleport to distant but new areas (where you won't get to by normal walking).
But not towards existing far off places .

Now, shortcuts, on the other hand ...
I am grateful for the (very few) shortcuts that appear over the course of the game so far, once the character is strong enough that going the long way around no longer brings enough extra XP to matter.
